Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.
We remain dedicated to three aspects of philanthropy: sisters helping sisters through Tri Delta’s Foundation, our commitment to changing the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer through our work with local and regional children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer initiatives and through our national partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter actively supports these philanthropies. Our partnership with Riley dates back to Tri Delta's commitment to children's cancer charities. The 1990s saw our annual bowling fundraiser, Striking out against Children's Cancer, and our chapter appeared on Riley's Miracle Telethon. This gave way to Putt A Round for Riley at Ben & Ari's miniature golf. Many activities surrounding Founders' Day have supported the Delta Delta Delta Foundation. A giving tree, change wars, and baskets have all raised money for this organization, which supports sisters in need.
Tri Delta's commitment to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has given our chapter the chance to join a national philanthropic partnership. Chapter members have joined St. Jude's Give Thanks. Walk and the St. Jude Run/Walk, as well as participating in St. Jude's Memphis Marathon. The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter organized the first state-wide Tri Delta team, and in 2013 was awarded as the Top Team Fundraiser at Indianapolis's Give Thanks. Walk.
The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter has a commitment to community service as well. Over the years, we have participated in service projects to support community organizations. We have donated cookies to families in crisis, served meals to hospital patients' families, made blankets for sick children and local police agencies. We've prepared meals for the needy, arranged flowers for a local hospital, and gathered food and school supply donations for those in need.
